Introduction
This tutorial explains how to force reset the password of one or more cPanel accounts
This measure is applied so that the user can set a password known only to them or if there is a suspicion that the password of that account has been compromised.
Requirement
- a WHM account
Steps to follow
- after logging into the WHM control panel, in the interface that will be displayed, look for "force password change" in the upper left window"
- after clicking on the obtained result, a table will appear in the new displayed window where you can select the desired account or even all accounts
- after selecting the desired domain/domains, press the "Submit" button, and a "Success" message will appear in the lower right corner!"
- after successfully performing the operation, when the owner of the cPanel account will log in to the panel, he will be automatically redirected to the password reset page, not allowing another operation until he sets a new password.
